Mobile Labs is an adaptation of SPARK Saturdays that brings the lab materials to high schools in the Pittsburgh Community. The program began in the Spring of 2015 and was piloted at Oakland Catholic High School with four labs, ranging from topics like programming in Python to sound analysis to energy conversion. The Mobile Labs chairs currently aim to expand the program to allow more students and schools entry.
The labs assume no prior knowledge, and students are provided with assistance from Carnegie Mellon graduate and undergraduate students.
For questions about Mobile Labs, you can contact the program's chair Mary Beth Galanko (e: firstname.lastname@example.org).
