Mobile Labs is an adaptation of SPARK Saturdays that brings the lab materials to high schools in the Pittsburgh Community. The program began in the Spring of 2015 and was piloted at Oakland Catholic High School with four labs, ranging from topics like programming in Python to DC motor control to energy conversion.
The labs assume no prior knowledge, and students are provided with assistance from Carnegie Mellon graduate and undergraduate students.
We currently run Mobile Labs at Oakland Catholic High School, and are aiming to expand the program to allow for more students and schools.
For questions about Mobile Labs, you can contact us at ece-outreach@andrew.cmu.edu.
We reccomend high school staff or teachers to register their school for Mobile Labs.
