In order to guarantee your student a spot in our program, please register them using the following form as soon as possible. This form will be closed on Friday, March 24th, 2023. We will email you the release form for you to fill out once your registration is confirmed.
SPARK Saturdays is a program created by ECE Outreach that aims to introduce high school students to concepts within the field of electrical and computer engineering and expose them to engineering as a potential career choice. There are typically 4-5 labs, held on Carnegie Mellon's campus each semester, ranging from topics like the binary number system and boolean logic to programming in Python to building circuits with LEDs and that can be used as radios.
Our program is free of charge and will be held in-person at CMU's campus!
The labs assume no prior knowledge, and students are provided with assistance from Carnegie Mellon graduate and undergraduate students.

This semester, we have space for 20 students in the program, and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please fill out and submit the registration form above to reserve a place electronically. Within a few days of making your submission, you will receive an email with further details.
